I am very pleased to announce the founding of the “Syntropic Future” Foundation.
The foundation is dedicated to the protection, regeneration, and sustainable stewardship of natural and cultural landscapes. Its mission is to transform degraded ecosystems into resilient, diverse, and life-supporting systems. At the heart of our work is the concept of syntropy: strengthening natural processes in a targeted way to restore and preserve soil fertility, biodiversity, and stable water cycles over the long term.
More specifically, we are committed to fostering a world in which regenerated natural and cultural landscapes emerge through sustainable agroforestry systems that operate without the use of chemical pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. We translate these insights into urban systems and cities. A central aspect of our work is the connection between practice, education, and research in order to make knowledge systematically accessible and to collaboratively develop regenerative systems further.
An essential part of our work is collaboration with partners from agriculture, research, education, and civil society. We are convinced that meaningful change can only emerge through collective effort.
We are open to collaborations and project partnerships — especially with people and organizations who would like to contribute to and further develop our exciting projects.
If you are interested in collaborating or would like to develop a project with us in the fields of regeneration, agroforestry, soil restoration, or biodiversity, I would be very happy to connect and exchange ideas.
